Being Mumma wishes a very Happy Mother’s Day to all the beautiful Mummas who are a part of the fraternity!
With every blog post I upload and every experience I share on Being Mumma, about ‘my’ being a Mumma, in some or the other way I express how special it is to be a Mother.
So, this Mother’s Day I thought of doing the same thing, but a little differently. I also asked them to support it with a pic, so that all of us here get to see their cutie pies too!

Here’s what my post-baby body got me and here’s what you too should get prepared for in case you’re expecting a baby or have just become a mother: Continue reading

They will have to do their homework daily – no matter what; they will have to appear for unit tests and final exams- no matter what and they will have to have to (repeated intentionally) ‘study’-no matter what!
If all this is an inseparable part of our kids’ (and indirectly our) life then why not make them go through it happily?
Now the biggest question that arises is, how to make them say yes to studies? How to make them love their books? How to make them look forward to doing their homework?
Here are 5 innovative ways to create interest in your kids towards studies and help them study in a smarter way: Continue reading

If you can stay awake almost all night yet wake up with a smile to the coos and gurgles of your baby, smell your baby’s tush for poop, have a puke on your new t-shirt (and still be okay about it) or have tears of joy in your eyes when your baby tries to make the first effort to roll over – then you are a new mother who has just started the wonderful journey of motherhood.
They say, motherhood is the best adventure you can ever experience as it is more-than-full of surprises. Every day unfolds a new gift of unexpected yet fulfilling events that surprise you with every passing moment. All mothers eventually experience all kind of surprises out of which the top 5 are: Continue reading
